Bio of the Speaker:
My name is David Bratton, and I was born and raised in Jamestown. I graduated from Jamestown High School in 2003 and immediately joined the United States Army where I served six years as a 19K (Abrams Tank Crewmember). This included 18 months in Iraq with the 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division stationed out of Fort Carson, Colorado. After being discharged I came back to Jamestown and used my Post 9-11 G.I. Bill to obtain my degree in History and Political Science from the University of Jamestown. After graduating from the UJ, I took over the Veteran Service Officer Position at Stutsman County and have been here for 11 years. I am also on the Salvation Army Advisory Board, South-Central Homeless Coalition, and am the Chairperson for the Great Plains Housing Authority.
